Service Learning in Adapted Physical Education
The workshop focuses on service learning in adapted physical education and is in three parts. Part 1 will explore the rapidly developing knowledge base of Service Learning, including developments within Physical Education and Physical Activity programs. Part 2 focuses on designing, funding, developing and implementing a university-based after school program in adapted physical education. Part 3 describes how the Adapted Physical Education Program at the University of Dayton provides successful service learning while developing community partnerships from which all participants benefit.
