| COPPPE honors the 2002 NCATE-approved universities. Luncheon will be followed by a recognition ceremony for all college and university physical education programs that were approved in 2002 according to the Initial or Advanced national PETE standards. All college and university physical education programs that are currently NASPE/NCATE approved are invited to share in this celebration of teaching excellence. After certificates are presented, the luncheon address will be given. More information will be provided at a later date.
