Strategies for Assessing Faculty and Administrative Performance |
The session addresses strategies for assessing faculty and administrative performance through tools, such as rubrics and performance contracting. It is critical that expectations for faculty performance be clearly delineated for assessments to be productive. Performance rubrics have gained popularity with PE teachers in assessing student performance and providing meaningful feedback. This part of the presentation will explain how to design rubrics into the faculty assessment system. Leadership in today's world has become a challenging enterprise. Altruistic goals that were a part of our ancestors' culture are disappearing. This part of the session will explore performance contracting, a new concept in administrator evaluation. |
