| The Mascot Issue and Native Americans |
| Sport teams nationwide have used the images of Native Americans, in addition to giving their teams various names in reference to Native Americans. This practice calls for a national forum to discuss the numerous issues surrounding and involving such. Various data and literature will be shared to better inform those that teach, and work within the education arena concerning this on-going discussion about Native Americans and mascots. |
