| Body Image and the Female Athlete Triad: Applications for Practitioners |
| Following our 2002 AAHPERD symposium in San Diego, CA on body image and the female athlete triad, this workshop will represent dance, athletic training, health, physical education and fitness professionals who will highlight approaches to problems related to male and female body image dissatisfaction, the female athlete triad, and body dysmorphia. Special attention will be given to coaches, educators, and parents, empowering them with prevention and problem solving strategies. Workshop participants will leave with specific tools to be utilized in their own settings. |
