How to Use Periodization in Sport Training in American Schools |
Explains how periodization can be used in training young athletes in the American school setting. The purposes of periodization are to (1) make training a more objective process, (2) achieve the optimal training effect from each phase of training, and (3) peak at the ideal moment. The presenter has coached athletes from the middle school through the international levels. |
