| Challenging Sexual Barriers: Adding Sparkle to the Golden Years |
| Are you prepared to answer questions from the growing aging population concerning sexuality? During this lively session, participants will be engaged in active problem solving by defining the sexual challenges related to aging and common disease processes, and discovering solutions to many of these sexual challenges. Utilizing aging theory and historical constructs, participants will be guided through a holistic perspective that allows the health educator to respond to the sexual concerns of older adults with a respect for the diverse beliefs of acceptable sexual expression and varied readiness for this sexual expression. |
