The Impact of the WNBA on the Career Aspirations of African American Females in Sport |
Historically, the career aspirations of African American males who participated in basketball have been influenced by the National Basketball Association (NBA). The inception of the WNBA may have a similar influence on the career aspirations of African American females. The purpose of this session is to examine the influence of the WNBA on the career aspirations of high school and collegiate student athletes. |
