Great Pennsylvania Workout-Minutes Across Pennsylvania |
The Great Pennsylvania Workout is an initiative of the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. The event occurs in May and motivates more than 53,000 Pennsylvanians to be active over a 5 day period. Participants will learn how to partner with hundreds of organizations, government agencies and associations to promote participation is a statewide physical activity initiative. This session will demonstrate how to recruit thousands of individuals, partner with organizations, develop a database to record participation, plan a media event with the Governor and state celebraties. A start-up kit will be provided. |
