A Prosection Anatomy Course on the WEB |
The presentation will be a "hands on" demonstration of a prosection anatomy program developed by medical professors and utilized in various settings to help students learn gross anatomy. Participants will actually be able to log onto the web site and maneuver through it with an experienced guide. Videos that show actual cadaver dissection with audio describing key landmarks allow you to get the sights without the smell of an actual gross anatomy laboratory. Discussion will focus on how these visual aids have been used to improve students' comprehension and test scores in medical and non-medical universities. |
