An Equal Playing Field: Dance for All |
This session explores the impact of direct and problem-solving techniques on student learning when teaching dance. Activities and discussion provide strategies to facilitate the teaching of dance by non-dancers. A key component is the inclusion of all students regardless of ability, experience, disposition and/or physical limitations.
Participants will return to their schools with an understanding of how to incorporate the unique capabilities of each child into creative dance. Specific dance frameworks will be explored and outlines will be provided. |
