Rights, Respect, Responsibility: A New Paradigm for Adolescent Sexual Health in America |
Rights, respect, and responsibility: A national campaign lead by Advocates for Youth to reframe how America approaches adolescent sexuality. This presentation will focus on how France, Germany, and the Netherlands have been successful at reducing and maintaining significantly lower rates of teen pregnancy, STDs, and HIV compared to the United States. Experiences and findings from the 2002 Advocates for Youth Study Tour will be presented. Discussed will be social marketing campaigns, media, religion, education, health, family beliefs and practices, health care access, public policy, and trends. |
