Selecting Appropriate Test Items for Children with Physical Disabilities |
The purpose of this session is to document test items and adaptations among current health-related physical fitness and motor development test batteries that are reliable and appropriate for children with disabilities. Participants should leave the session with a better understanding of how to collect meaningful and useful scores among children with physical disabilities as well as recognize items that are not suitable for certain populations. Participants will have the opportunity to review and administer a variety of items and adaptations from the Brockport Physical Fitness Test, FITNESSGRAM, President's Challenge, and TGMD. Norms for specific tests will also be provided. |
