Play for All: Applying ADA Guidelines to the Design of Playgrounds |
Play is a universal need. But many times children with disabilities are forced to sit on the sidelines because the design of play environments presents barriers to them. This session will explore how to design playgrounds for children of all abilities. Special attention will be given to the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) proposed standards concerning playgrounds. |
