Development of Women's Professional Football in the U.S |
This session will document and summarize the development of women's professional hard tackle football in the U.S., with emphasis on the new leagues that have started within the last four years. Whereas some people are aware that girls and women are playing hard tackle football, relatively very few are aware of the growing and widespread interest of women's professional hard tackle football, even though some participants may be unpaid. Although the new leagues are still works in progress and the state of women's football is continually evolving, this session will document the available information and serve as a baseline for future research. |
