Kids at Hope Liaison Certification Workshop - Day One
This 1/2 day workshop is for teachers who want to learn about Kids at Hope as a belief system, supported by a culture, and enhanced by a program. Participants will learn how Kids at Hope can fit into their programs, schools, and community and how to effectively implement Kids at Hope enhancement materials. Kids at Hope reverses the negativism of the youth-at-risk paradigm and starts to swing the pendulum in a positive arc to believe that our children are, in fact, at hope. Kids at Hope goes beyond prevention to promotion. The goal is create an environment that enhances the intellectual and emotional development of children and youth.
