"SO Get Into It!" |
NASPE/AAHPERD in partnership with Special Olympics,Inc (SOI), have developed the "SO Get Into It!" curriculum for elementary, middle and high school students. The lessons are for the regular education program and appropriate for health and physical education. The lessons promote diversity, community service, and physical activity & sports through Special Olympics. Lessons are designed to support standards, character & youth development, IDEA and service learning. Persons attending this session will receive: An overview of the SOGII development & evaluation process, lessons from the core curriculum, detailed information on how to participate in this national/international initiative, presentations from teachers who delivered the lessons. |
