Campus HIV Prevention Strategies: Planning for Success |
With funding from the Centers for Disease Control, the presenters have developed a multi-faceted HIV prevention model for postsecondary students that includes campus environment and policy; health messages; professional development; student leadership; prevention programs; attention to special populations; health services; and collaboration. Within the framework of these eight components, the presenters provide examples from demonstration sites, offer assessment and planning tools, and identify resources. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their successes and challenges regarding campus HIV prevention. |
