Changing the Environment Through Social Skills |
Putdowns and bullying have moved some students to violence at Santana and Granite Hills High Schools. Creating a safe school environment is a high priority in education today. Implementing social skills through physical education can positively affect student interaction throughout the school. Social skills are those skills that students utilize to help them complete a cooperative activity and like each other when they finish. This session will focus on how to implement a social skills program through teaching the skills, practicing during cooperative activities, and finally how to assess the students. |
