Non-Profit Organizations in Sport- Issues Concerning Girls and Women |
This study attempts to identify nonprofit sport organizations, specifically organizations addressing issues concerning girls and women in sport. Several factors that affect sport nonprofit organizations presently and in the future are examined. The lack of current literature on nonprofit sport organizations demonstrates the need for a basic understanding of these sport organizations, their current status, and future issues facing them in the industry. Most importantly these nonprofit organizations assist in the understanding of issues facing girls and women in sport; therefore an understanding of the organizations as a whole is vital for the future of girls and women in sport. |
