D.A.N.C.E.S. Developing a New Critical Evaluation System |
One of the greatest challenges for physical educators is assessing student performance. Learn how an action research project led to the design and implementation of an assessment instrument conducted in a dance class. An opportunity to learn the dance, use the instrument to assess participants in this session, and take information from this workshop back to your dance program. Discussion about the practical implications of conducting performance assessments that include self-assessment, peer assessment, and instructor assessment will be the culmination of this interactive program. |
