Best Case Scenario: A Case Law Book for Sport Management
Case law illustrations of legal concepts in sport law are excellent teaching tools in a sport management curriculum. Accessing cases, however, is a major obstacle for some sport law instructors who do not have access to a law library or to a database like Westlaw. This obstacle was recognized by the presenters who developed an idea for a supplemental case law text for those instructors who have no access to case law. This presentation will review the process of developing this text which involved the development of a panel of experts, a modified Delphi technique, and an electronic survey method.
