Creating Rubrics: Tips, Types and the National Standards |
This session will guide participants through a step by step process for creating rubrics suitable for use in their settings. Different types of rubrics, as well as their strengths and weaknesses will be examined. The appropriateness of different rubrics for different settings will be discussed. Examples of teacher created rubrics currently being used in different school districts will be shared. Participants will be shown how to tie rubrics into the National Standards to enhance programs and provide more authentic assessment. |
