Majors Clubs: Helping PETE students transition to Professionals
Students from the Teaching for Understanding Club in the HPER department at Plymouth State College will present and discuss the benefits of club participation in their overall college experience. A panel of students and alumni will share and reflect upon their experiences as leaders and participants. Topics will include professional development activities, service activities, mentoring, debating, recruiting, organizational models and the role of advisors. There will also be feedback from alumni describing the ways in which the club has eased their transition into professional life.
