The Art and Science of Yoga |
Yoga is an ancient activity that is practiced in many different forms. The styles include a variety of movements and positions that focus on relaxation, meditation, stretching, activating the nervous system, and cleansing the body. A lecture-demonstration will present the benefits and basic concepts of yoga. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate under the leadership and guidance of an experienced teacher. Attendees should come dressed to participate and should bring a pillow or blanket. |
