Reflective Stories Utilized as Cases in a Professional Education Setting |
The use of reflective writing for pre-service teachers is a familiar concept. The use of reflective story writing by student teachers and the development of cases from these stories for future use is a concept that will benefit all participants. The purpose of this session is to promote discussion on the use of reflective writing, stories and cases. Such techniques will allow for the experiences of student teachers to “live on” in the teacher education program. Specifically, we will discuss the method utilized for developing stories, create context specific cases and prepare them for implementation in a professional education setting. |
