High-Performance Learning-Teams: Teaching Collaboration while Enhancing Course Objectives
This two-part presentation integrates theory and practice about high-performing learning teams. Participants will actively engage in collaborative learning activities that reflect the research. These activities include role-playing, group assessment, group accountability, and group problem solving. The presentation will focus on the theoretical justification for the need and effectiveness of learning teams and the identification of requisite group dynamics. Time will be available for reflection, sharing, and questions.
