An Introduction to Non-Gender Specific Partnering Work |
This workshop will provide skills on how to introduce non-gender partnering to your students through the use of contact improvisation tools. This session will give participants an opportunity to learn how to work together by listening, observing and creating movement, utilizing contact exercises including;imaging, posting, weight sharing, landscaping and lofting. Utilizing these techniques, participants will experience a series of lifts and explore their own partnering through a modern dance movement phrase. |
