Sport for All: Physical Activity and Sport Readiness for Children |
This session will provide an update on the first year of implementation of Sport For All, a program of physical activity and sport readiness for preschool, elementary, and middle school students. Developed by NASPE, in collaboration with Human Kinetics and Sportime, Sport For All is designed to complement a quality physical education program. In its first year, this program has been successfully implemented in a variety of settings, including after school, child care, camps, and others. A training of trainers model has been used to provide physical and sport educators the opportunity to become Sport For All instructors. |
