Program Planning - New Opportunities for Partnership Development
Recreation practitioners have exciting opportunities to build program planning partnerships with a variety of constituent groups within their communities. These groups often include youth, older adults, ethnocultural communities, people with disabilities, and those with a variety of special interests (e.g. arts, culture, sports, crafts and hobbies). This workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to explore innovative, participatory planning approaches. This session promises to challenge participants to “think outside the box” as we consider the “how to’s” of planning exciting, relevant, and inclusive programs with the many partners that currently exist within all of our communities.
