Elite Master Women and Sport Performance: What are They Capable of?
This program will present performance levels of elite women who compete in Masters competition in selected sports. It will also provide information concerning the physiological response of older women to training and competition as well as matters pertaining to their health and well-being. A panel of women who compete in Masters sport competition will respond to questions about their training, competition, and the effect of these activities on the quality of their lives. Advocacy efforts in creating more opportunities for this age group will be discussed.
