Understanding Authentic Assessment: What Every Teacher Should Know |
Assessment is clearly a hot topic in education today. Authentic or alternative assessment is being widely hailed as a solution to this often ignored and abused component of teaching. Yet, as teachers seek to jump on the “authentic assessment bandwagon” many questions remain unanswered. This session is designed to address the use of authentic assessment from a sound pedagogical perspective, but also taking into account traditional measurement issues. |
