Constructing and Evaluating Sport Skills Assessments
This session will provide common sense instructions on how to construct measures to assess sports skills. The presenters will discuss the developmental process in a step by step manner so that any physical educator can learn to develop accurate and consistent measures. Special emphasis will be given to the assessment of process vs. product oriented sport skills. This session will be supported by many practical examples that are currently in use in the Basic Instruction Program at the United States Military Academy. Attendees will receive an information packet that will assist them in developing their own sport skills assessments.
