Meta-Analysis of Adherence to Sport Injury Rehabilitation Programs
This talk will present current research as to why athltetes are non-compliant with the rehabilitation of sport injuries. It will identify various predictors through the use of stepwise regression, and utilize a mixed model approach to paint the perplexing picture of rehab adherence. It will also draw parallels to the general population in relation to adherence to general fitness programming. Why don't people keep working out?? (This informaiton will be of use for PE teachers, coaches, fitness instructors, and athletic trainers.).
