Tour: Fitness Clinic for Individuals with Disabilities, San Diego State University
A tour of the San Diego State University's Fitness Clinic for Individuals with Disabilities will be conducted on Friday, April 12, 2002. The Fitness Clinic is a community based program for individuals with a wide variety of disabilities including post-stroke, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease and others. The clients, ages 11-87, receive an individualized fitness program under the direction of an intern majoring in kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy, athletic training, adapted physical education, or fitness. Meet the bus for transport at 8:00 AM in front of the convention center.
