| Today’s Technology Tools for Tomorrow’s Teachers |
| Experiment with the toys of technology! Examples of incorporating technology into the K-12 curriculum will be presented. Participants will use digital cameras and download images into documents or presentations. Personal Digital Assistants (hand held computers) will also be available for hands-on use. Participants will have the opportunity to enter and beam data, examine grade books and lesson plans displayed on hand-held computers. Participants will also have an opportunity to complete a short lesson using a body composition computer, a pedometer, and a heart rate monitor. Microsoft Excel will be used to chart the results. |
