The audience will be informed of possibilities for international academic exchange programs with universities and health care agencies in Latin America. Information will be provided on common stressors among African-American college students, the coping strategies they use and the relationship to academic performance. The results of a study conducted with the people of the Catawba Indian Nation to determine their knowledge, attitudes, behaviors and risk indicators with respect to HIV/AIDS. A review of the magnitude of, the factors associated with, the challenges and recommendations for the fight against domestic violence for both Puerto Rican and Russian women.
