Themes Make Movement come Alive
Children need to participate in many different motor experiences. Enhance your physical education program and delight children with thematic physical education activities that follow the core curriculum and meet the national standards. This presentation's focus is on activities for elementary aged children of all ability levels. As we explore the themes "wind" "animals" "transportation" and "games" you will obtain the necessary information to present these thematic activities and organize the equipment for your individual teaching situation. Gross and fine motor activities will be presented. Adaptations of the activities for a variety of abilities will be included.
