Coastal Piloting, Charting, and Navigation Made Easy |
Many of today’s boaters either never learned or have forgotten how to use a paper chart and coastal piloting skills. Learn to plot a position and many other skills necessary to know what to do if your electronic navigation systems fail.
There are 38 U.S. Coast Guard Navigation Rules of the Road. Participants in this workshop will leave with an understanding and knowledge of the rules of the road that will impress a professional mariner. ***NOTE: See the Tours/Activities section in the front of the program book for excursion times for "Ocean Sailing Aboard a Catalina 270," an offsite experience offered by the Council on Outdoor Education and Alison Osinski. |
