Integrating the Elements of Dance into the Early Childhood, Middle School and Secondary Level Curricula
This is a very special session, designed for those who teach dance in any/all of the k-12 grades. Participants will experience an interdisciplinary approach to integrating Language Arts and Creative Dance with young children, a multi level learning strategy "Mirror, Shape, Stretch and Search" using themes from world cultures that parallel middle school social studies curriculum, and an infusion of the elements of poetry and the elements of dance "Poetry in Motion" designed for secondary level students.
