National and State Perspectives on Coordinated School Health Programs |
This panel presentation will provides participants with an overview on 1) initiatives of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/Division of Adolescent and School Health that focus on improving the health of children and youth through partnerships with local and state agencies; 2) ways to gain administrative support for Coordinated School Health Programs, including marketing materials and 3) ways to engage a broad-based coordinated school health constituency and involve youth in the process. Specific action steps to move either local or state coordinated school health initiatives forward will be presented. |
