Violence Prevention Within Youth and College Populations
This workshop will be divided into three segments. Segment one will focus on the incidence and problems associated with domestic violence among college relationships. Segment two will focus on the dynamics of domestic violence in relation to teen/youth dating. An examination of the depth of the problem and helpful resources will be explored. Segment three will provide a broad overview of the bio-behavioral-psycho-social determinants of school violence in addition to providing procedural recommendations for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating effective youth violence prevention programs. The Child and Adolescent Health Logic Framework will be discussed.
