Sexuality Education: Effects of Attitude/Using Movies to Teach Sexuality Topics
This presentation will cover the purpose & contribution of media in the classroom, lastest research of the effect of media on attitudes, knowledge, behavior, copyright information, specific teaching strategies, example of movie clips and activities designed to incorporate use of these in sexuality education and examine the influence students' and teachers' attitudes and reactions have on the effectiveness of sex education. It is also an interactive workshop using role plays, problem solving and testimonials to involve the workshop participants in understanding the dynamics needed to create a healthy classroom environment for sex education. Participants will have an enjoyable and "fun" learning experience.
