Children's Motor Skill Development: Activities and Assessment Strategies That Work in the Real World |
This workshop will present two programs encompassing children's motor skill development. The first session will discuss age-appropriate motor development in a new Pre-K curricula. Additionally, strategies to increase physical activity levels of all family members will be included. The second session will focus on how physical education practitioners can use motor development research to guide instruction and assessment. Authentic, real time and video based assessment will be demonstrated. Both presentations will include opportunities for audience participation. |
