Engaging Secondary Students in Success-Oriented Activities through Physical Best
This session provides teachers with age-appropriate aerobic fitness and muscular strength and endurance activities that they may utilize to assist students in gaining knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead physically active, healthy lives. Particular emphasis will be placed on class management skills for maximizing time on task, and encouraging full participation of all students, regardless of ability. All activities have been used successfully and are designed to meet NASPE and state standards for health-related fitness.
