This session will focus on how the Colorado Department of Education and Colorado teachers are working together to provide resources and curriculum support for health education in order to better align curriculum with the National Health Standards and the Colorado Academic Standards. Participants will actively examine the processes and products of Colorado’s District Sample Curriculum Project and the comprehensive health units that were created to align with the new comprehensive health standards.
