Physical education, considered a technical subject, is charged with supporting literacy concepts within the physical education curriculum. This interactive workshop will provide attendees the opportunity to participate in a variety of games and activities for grades K-5 that promote literacy in physical education. Each activity is designed to infuse a different component of the Common Core Learning Standards for Literacy while at the same time build skills associated with physical education content. (CEU)
