As elementary educators are faced with limitations of time to reach an ever-increasing number of objectives, this session will demonstrate an approach toward integrating health education with language literacy. Health topics include self-protection techniques, recognizing and responding to bullying, harassment, and intimidation. Procedures for integrating language development with safety and nutrition education will be presented with audience participation. (CEU) (CHES)
