The focus of this session is to describe how undergraduate pre-service teachers have used the Coordinated School Health (CSH) approach to identify health or safety needs within public schools. Using CSH as a framework for conducting needs assessments allows pre-service teachers and schools to uncover salient needs so they can begin program planning. Participants in this session will recognize the stakeholders in CSH and identify methods for discovering health/safety needs within schools. (CEU) (CHES)
