Participants will be introduced to a wide variety of fun, exciting, and effective skill based teaching techniques developed by the presenters over their more than 130 years of combined classroom experience. Techniques will demonstrate how teachers can increase student engagement by seamlessly integrating other content areas into health lessons while implementing inventive ways to motivate students to take responsibility for their choices. Techniques are applicable to K-12 teachers, higher education, or community-based practitioners. (CEU) (CHES)
